It was a weekend full of achievements for MS Munaretto, shining on two fronts with impressive performances at both Rally Valle del Tevere and Rally Sweden.
At Rally Valle del Tevere, Luca Hoebling delivered a steady performance, gradually increasing his pace. After a cautious start, he pushed harder in the final two stages, capitalising on promising split times to secure a solid seventh place overall.
A remarkable performance also came from Massimo and Giovanni Squarcialupi, who, behind the wheel of MS Munaretto’s Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, broke into the top ten, further proving the competitiveness of their family partnership.
Crowning the team’s Italian success was Michele Griso and Elia De Guio’s dominant victory in the Rally4/R2 class. The duo controlled the category from start to finish, conceding just one stage win to their rivals and sealing their triumph in commanding fashion.
From Italy to Sweden, where Lauri Joona and Samu Vaaleri kicked off their world championship campaign with a standout performance in WRC2. Tackling over 300 kilometres of special stages with consistency and precision, the Finnish crew came tantalisingly close to a category podium but still secured third place in the WRC2 Challenger classification, improving on their result from last season.
A strong start to the year, setting a positive tone for the team’s 2025 campaign.
