MS MUNARETTO READY TO PUT ON A SHOW BETWEEN CIRT AND CRZ3

Six competitors between Tuscany and Lombardy for MS Munaretto, as the team dives deeper into the season.

With the opening round of the CIRT (Campionato Italiano Rally Terra – Italian Gravel Rally Championship) now in the books, the italian gravel series gears up for another thrilling chapter. This weekend, all eyes will be on the province of Siena, where the 16th Rally Val d’Orcia is set to take centre stage – an unmissable event for enthusiasts and drivers alike, ready to battle it out on the spectacular Tuscan gravel roads. The rally features nearly 80 km of timed stages spread across ten special stages.

MS Munaretto is ready to take on a fiercely competitive event, fielding five contenders at the start line.

Mille Johansson is set to return to action behind the wheel of the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, equipped with Hankook tyres. The young Swede, co-driven by the experienced Johan Grönvall, will carry number 6 on his doors, determined to put the experience gained on the Umbrian gravel in the CIRT season opener to good use.

Also taking on the challenge of the Tuscan stages is Luca Hoelbling, alongside Federico Fiorini. After securing a solid seventh place overall at the Rally Valle del Tevere, the Verona-based driver sticks with the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, this time sporting number 22, with the clear goal of climbing further up the standings.

Strengthening the ranks of the team is a familiar face in the gravel rally scene: Alessandro Taddei. The driver, co-driven by Andrea Gaspari, is gearing up for another challenge on the Tuscan dirt, a surface he knows inside out. For the occasion, he too has chosen to rely on the competitive Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 – MS Munaretto’s flagship weapon.

Also on the entry list are Massimo and Giovanni Squarcialupi, who continue their learning curve behind the wheel of the Škoda Fabia Evo. Carrying number 31, the duo aims to build on the promising feelings gathered so far and further strengthen their connection with the car.

Completing the team’s lineup is Marco Griso’s return to gravel, the son of a rallying legacy, co-driven by Alessandro Lucato. The driver from Vicenza kicks off his season at the Val d’Orcia, climbing back aboard the Ford Fiesta R2 – the very same car with which he claimed victory in the Rally4/R2 class at last year’s Brunello Rally.

The action kicks off at the crack of dawn on Saturday, 29th March, with the shakedown in San Casciano dei Bagni, scheduled from 6:30 am, while the official Start Ceremony will mark the beginning of the competition at 12:00 pm. Once again in 2025, Radicofani Motorsport is lending its patronage to the event, which will showcase some of the finest specialists in the discipline.

A top-tier entry list is expected, with high-calibre crews ready to battle for victory on a demanding and technical surface.

Not just gravel: MS Munaretto in action in CRZ3 with Pederzani

From the dusty roads of Tuscany to the tarmac of Lombardy, MS Munaretto is gearing up for an action-packed weekend.

The MS Munaretto outfit will also be supporting Riccardo Pederzani, who is set to take the start of the second round of the CRZ3 – Coppa Rally di Zona 3. The young driver from Varese, co-driven by Martina Omacini and at the wheel of the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, will tackle the challenging Bergamasco rally, kicking off on Sunday, 30th March, from the Fiera di Bergamo.

A tough route lies ahead: 69.54 km of timed stages spread across six special stages, running from dawn till dusk, pushing crews and cars to their limits in a true endurance test. The rally will get underway in Val Serina, setting the stage for nine hours of relentless competition.
